In the year 1960 young people started protesting because they saw that the country was being injustices in the countrys plitical and social system. They became rebeldus and they sought to reform the system they became known as the counterculture.The counterculture was not very successful but gave impact in our society such as the fashion, the music who was inspiered mostly by Bob Dylan. During this year women also fought to gain there rights to get paid the same as a man for the same job, they were successful with this because of the Equal Rights Movement in March 1972, however they were not all the way successful to get paid the same as a man for the same job. This movement made profound changes in society and women now started getting jobs outside of home. 1910 the Mexican Revolution began so many Lations were force to move to America for a better future and also a better life. They came illigaly into the country and soon they were discriminated and were force to go back, but Lations fought back for there right to be in America and made organizations to work for equal rights and fair treatment. They eventually only got paid better but some who where illegel were forced out of the country.
